In Kenya, one in five girls has experienced FGM. Girls just like Olerai (above) forced to endure the painful and traumatic practice.

Why give monthly?

Gifts from regular supporters make up one-quarter of Womankind’s total income. By choosing to give in this way, we can plan projects more efficiently with our partner organisations in Africa and Asia. Right now, monthly supporters are enabling us to deliver projects with partners that empower women with disabilities in Ethiopia and support girls experiencing violence in slum villages in Kenya. Those are just two examples of the many projects we build with partners every year. With more monthly supporters on board, we can work to improve the lives of more women around the world. It’s as simple as that.
